They do add more clothing, but hold off on purchases for a bit. If you like Sudoku they have a great game going in the games section, if you solve the sudoku puzzle correctly you get all the items that were in the game. There are clothes and nice stuff in that.

start with the easy puzzle, you get to do one a day, but the prizes are so worth it.
