New Year's Eve, December 30 2011 @ 9:37PM by
Christmas time has come and gone
It's New Years Eve and a brand new dawn Tomorrow is a brand new year Sing it loud for all to hear The gift exchange is almost over There's no gift like Russell Stover 2010 is long gone,2011 is closing up Lift your glass, lift your cup This year has been good to us all Some got old, some got tall Creature World is full of fun Lots of things for everyone I was quite bored when I wrote this poem Please, don't hate it and torch my home Just something to make you smile. Please don't use this as a judge for my writing abilities. Happy New Years! |

*likes muchly* And why don't you want us to use it to judge your writing abilities? I think it's really well written.

It's not one of my finest pieces, but thank you greatly.

If that's not one of your finest pieces... by any chance are you a professional writer?

Oh, I'm not professional by any means, but I've had a few poems and short stories published in literary journals and such.
