Chapter One: Guilt

Riko(Jasmine) stood in the rain letting it soak through her outfit. The rain washed away the blood on her. She had a few scrapes and a couple of deep cuts that were already starting to heal.
Her eyes glowing emeralds, her fangs dripping blood, and her dark red wings spread out. She looked like a fallen angel. Running down her cheeks were crimson tears. What she had been ordered to do was killing her.
Flashback Riko's P.O.V.
“Riko, we need you to follow him and when you find a weakness in his guard kill him.” an elder said.
“Do you think you can handle this?” came a sarcastic female voice.
“What do you take me for? Of course I can.” I snarled back and walked away.
“We will hold Keimei(day) until you do, you won't be allowed to return until you finish this task so for her sake I would make this quick.” the same female voice said.
“Don't you dare threaten me with Keimei's life because you know that's dangerous.” I turned around with my fangs showing in a snarl. “I don't even want to do this. I love him, what you want me to do is not only to kill a fellow demon, but to kill my lover! I am only doing this because your holding my little sister. Do not threaten me.” with that I walked off.
The man they want me to kill is my lover Hikaru(radiance) he and I were planing to run away. The only thing holding us up was me. I wasn't ready to leave my sister Keimei who is only three. Our parents died in the great war. Demons are now feared, and half-demons are ordered to kill their own kin or lovers. It's how we live and survive. I am a half-demon because my mom was an angel/vampire and my dad a wolf demon, thus my name Riko Tenma which means Jasmine Demon. My lover is Hikaru which means Fox because he is a “pure” demon I have to kill him. For the elders fear us ever having a child. What they don't know won't hurt my little one. Yes, I am four months pregnant with twin pups a boy and girl. Although it won't show, the one plus side of being an angel/vampire.
There's the door to my apartment. I walk in and I hear the sound of pitter patter of paws and I see a red and black wolf pup come flying at me. The wolf quickly forms into the shape of a three year old Onyx haired girl, with sky blue eyes.
“Sissy! You're home!” yells Keimei.
“Yes Keimei I'm home.” I whispered.
“Hello love.” said Hikaru.
“Hello.”
“Sissy? Who is that?” asks Keimei. I turn and see.....
“Szadek?” I stood up quickly and ran over to him.
“Hello Suta. Kael wishes an audience with you.” Szadek said.
Gasp “Kael's alive?” I ask.
“Yes, didn't you know this?” Szadek looks confused.
“No I thought you were all dead.” as a crimson tear slides down my cheek, Szadek wipes it away and his fingers linger for a few minutes. I forgot Szadek had a soft side he only showed to me. Then Hikaru coughs to remind us that he is still there. I spin around real fast, and blush.
“Hikaru, I have to go see Kael do you want to go?” I hope he will saw yes just to make what I have to do easier.
“Sure.” he was eying Szadek with suspicion a look that made Suta bristle and growl, which accidently came out as a low growl. Which made Hikaru turn around and look at me surprised.
“What's wrong Riko?” he asked.
“Don't look at Szadek like that, Suta will not tolerate it.” I said.
I didn't mean to sound angry but Suta's emotions were rolling off of me like a tornado. Szadek had moved behind me and was rubbing the sides of my arms to calm Suta down. He growled in my ear.
“Suta, Shingoku is getting agitated that someone's making you angry.” he growled softly in my ear. Whimpering Suta calmed down.
“Sorry, she didn't mean to make Shingoku upset.” I look at Hikaru and smile. “Sorry I didn't to snap at you.”
“It's ok.” he looked down ashamed that he couldn't calm me like that.
“Alright, well Urufu should be here soon to take care of Keimei while we're gone.” I say, remembering my brother loves his half-sister, Katashi(firmness) and I have the same mom. Suddenly there was a knock on the door. Hikaru goes to the door and says hello to my brother who I call nii-san which means brother. I walk over to him and ask to talk to him outside.
“Katashi you can't tell Keimei the extent of this mission she can't know.” I am begging at this point.
“Don't worry sis I won't tell her.” he kisses the top of my forehead. “Now go.”
With that Szadek leads with me beside him and Hikaru in his fox form in my hood. Something about fox demons traveling is more comfortable to them in fox form than human. So I talk to Szadek on the way, because a cool thing about Hikaru's fox form is he can't understand what we humans say. Well maybe it's not cool to him but to us it's a good time to catch up on the Night Angel's business.
five hours later
“Kael, is he different Szadek?” I whisper.
“Different how?” he stops so we can rest we had been traveling for five hours, and of course Hikaru is asleep.
“Like you know, different, appearance, emotions, does he still love me?” I ask almost so quietly afraid of rejection. Szadek takes my chin in his hands and stares into my purple and green eyes, smiles and whispers.
“Yes, Riko Tenma, Kael still loves you and so do Kento and I, considering we are part of him.” and with that he kisses me and then I get bit by Hikaru, which totally ruins the moment. See even though he can't understand what we're saying he can still feel the emotions rolling off me and those around me.
Growls “Hikaru stop and go back to sleep.” he gives me a wide-eyed stare, but obeys.
“We should get some sleep too Szadek.” he nods and stares at Hikaru with an angry look but I slip into my wolf form and curl my wings around me.
“Watashi Suki Maro Tsukikage Suta.” he whispers in my wolf ear.

Each character has a Japanese name and I put the translated english name the first time the name is used if at all possible Then the rest of the time i just put their japanese name. I have chapter two and a little of chapter three I will post them in a minute if you would like to see them.

Chapter Two: Enter Night Angels

I entered the Night Angel's hideout, Hikaru decided to stay in his fox form, so when I first caught scent of Kael, I dropped Hikaru, shifted to my wolf form and chased down the scent. I saw him for the first time in over a hundred years(vampire/angel). He turned around to look at me and I ran to him in my human form, and tackled him to the floor and sat on him.
“You are alive!” I whispered happily.
“Yes, Kitsune(fox) I'm still alive.” Kael lifted his hand to my cheek. His pet name for me is Kitsune. Then I heard the growling and snarling that could only come from a fox, named Hikaru.
“Go easy on him, rough him up if you want, but go easy on him,” I whispered.
“I will try.” he kissed my forehead and lunged at Hikaru in wolf form. He had Hikaru by the neck and slammed him into a wall. There was an indent where Hikaru was slammed into the wall. That's the extent of Kael's restraint if he hadn't listened to me, Hikaru would be going through the wall and be a hundred yards away and nothing but a pile of blood and bones.
“So, who are you? I would have thought Riko had warned you not to mess with me. It won't end well next time, because I won't listen to Riko and I will kill you. The only thing that's saving your butt is her. You will do well to remember that.” and with that Kael dropped Hikaru to the floor, dazed from hitting his head.
“Kael, can I go meet my old friends now?” I asked excitedly.
“Kalisa and Kimiko are putting on a surprise welcome home party for you Kit. But you didn't hear it from me.” Kento said, standing and looking cool in the doorway with white hair and two pink dots above his eyes.
“Yay! Kento you're here too?” I yipped. I jumped up and ran over to Kento and gave him a hug. Kael has three personalities, because of this he uses three different bodies to split them and control them. Kento is the more cheerful side he is also a womanizer but is also loyal to me, Szadek was the darker side he never shows emotions to anyone besides me. Kael is the neutral one of the three.
“Let's go Kit,” Kento said.
We walked down the stairs and Kimiko and Kalisa jumped out and shouted “Welcome home Riko!” I laughed and ran over to them giving them a hug.
Hikaru was jealous that these strangers were getting all my attention and he was being ignored. He started to growl and whine. I whirled around and growled at him. I was starting to push him away and it was better for him in the long run.
“Stop it Hikaru! I would like to spend some time with my friends if you don't like it then leave.”
Just then four teenagers came running around the corner in their wolf forms the two boys looked like their parents a black and white wolf and a white wolf, then their sisters looked like neither their mom or their dad, a white, burgundy, and red wolf and a orange and white wolf.
“Mom you're home!” they cried.
Hikaru looked as if he had seen a ghost. I laughed and tackled all four of them. I had on my old Night Angel's cloak a reverse of my adopted father's cloak his was a white cloak with orange flames on the sleeves and on the bottom of the cloak, mine was jet black with red flames in the same place. Now under that cloak was a yellow tank top that only came to about halfway down my stomach so half of it was showing, it had a red print of sakura blossoms, I had blue denim jeans with a red belt, my hair was naturally silver with added black and red streaks through it, my hair went down past my but.
“Let's see Kikan(key), Naito(night), Sora(sky), and Ranpu(light). You guys have grown so much in the last twelve years,” I whispered. These are mine and Kael's pups.
“Yeah mom,” Kiki(my nickname for her)
Kiki is the youngest, and she looked like me with her long hair but that was it. She had shiny black hair down past her ankles she kept it in a braid and wrapped up in a bun, her black eyes she got from her father, she wears a black tank top like vest over a gray tube top with butterflies, she wears a black and purple plaid skirt with crosses along the bottom. Her wolf form is a two toned red wolf with white under belly, around the eyes, the tip of her tail and her paws. Naito the oldest of the four, looked like an exact copy of his dad except he had short black hair instead of long red hair. His wolf form is a pure black wolf, with white around the eyes down the muzzle, to the bottom half of his tail, and his back paws. Ranpu is Naito's twin but they are opposite in nature, where Naito is dark Ranpu is light. Ranpu has light brown hair and warm chocolate brown eyes. He wears a button up white shirt, with light blue jeans. His wolf form is a pure white wolf. Sora is the second oldest looks like neither her mother nor her father for she has short pink hair and she wears green baggy jeans, with a red hoodie, she has bright green eyes. Her wolf form is an orange and white wolf with blue eyes.
“Who who who are they?” Hikaru asked. I giggled cause he sounded like an owl I once knew.
“These are my pups, Kael how are their skills in fighting and everything?” I was excited to know everything that had happened after I was called back to the village.
“Slow down Kit. All in good time.” Kael purred in my ear. I could hear Hikaru growling but I looked at him and that made him shut-up.

five hour flash forward

“Where is Kento, Szadek, and Hikaru?” I was worried because he needed to die by my hand and the village elders would find out if someone else killed him, I would lose Keimei forever.
“They took him on a tour to his room and I think they were going to lock him in but I'm not sure.”
I ran to find them and my rage had come out when I found Hikaru trying to bite at Szadek I ran in between them and turned to my fox form and tumbled into him and landed on top of him growling menacingly at him.

Suta

“Do you really think I will let you live after this?” Suta growled out. Hikaru was trying to get away so I bit his front leg and I think I broke it. I dragged him outside where it had started to rain, and asked again.
“I know this isn't you Riko snap out of it!” he shouted in my face.
“You're right about that this is her inner demon, and until I let her go she can't do anything to stop me.” I let him up and all you could see was two little fur balls flying at each other until I got tired of playing with my meal and got serious. I snapped a bite at his neck and felt the blood and his life drain out, and I kept drinking until he was dry.

end of Flashback
Riko looked up at the rain letting it wash away the blood.
“Szadek can you take the body back to the elders and bring Keimei here if Katashi wants to come bring him as well I am not going to split the family up.”
“As you wish.” he gave me a worried look and Kento caught me when I fell back and blacked out.



Then Chapter Three.

Chapter Three: Dark Poison

I was out for a week. It wasn't news to me. Kael stayed by my side the whole time.
“Kael,” I whispered. I finally realized the one flaw in my plan. I was still pregnant with Hikaru's pup.
“Yes Kitsune,” He answered.
“I hope you don't mind another litter of pups,” I whispered, I tried to smile but it wouldn't come.
“I will protect your pups.” he emphasized the your, part of it.
I refused to come out of my room so when Kael had to go out on a mission Kento stayed with me making me eat.

Keimei's POV
I was chasing my tail, I was beginning have my sisters ability to shape shift to a wolf. I could sense someone at the door.
“Katashi!” I yelled.
“What is it Keimei?” he asked.
“There's someone at the door.” I was attempting to get rid of my tail but failing.
“Szadek, so she did it?” Katashi whispered.
“Yeah, can I come in?” Szadek asked.
“Sure Keimei's trying to get rid of her tail.” Katashi said. Szadek chuckled.
“It's not funny guys!” I shouted.

in that case, I'm officially lost as, when I was reading part one, it felt like you had two names for each character or some continuity problems.

First time that I started thinking that everyone had their formal name and a different affectionate name was:

Sissy? Who is that?” asks Keimei. I turn and see.....
“Szadek?” I stood up quickly and ran over to him.
“Hello Suta. Kael wishes an audience with you.” Szadek said.

Because Riko was the one to open the door, yet Szadek is talking to Suta who wasn't the person who answered the door.

Ok Suta is Riko's inner demon name.

Ohhhh now i see what you were asking. Yes Kael calls Riko Kitsune(fox) And Kento calls her kit.

Keimei calls Riko Sissy because she's only 3. And Kaels demon is Shingoku, It's a werewolf like demon.

Yeah no problem got any suggestions I'm thinking of changing the name of the story to Betrayal because my boyfriend came up with the idea that Naito, Kael and Riko's son kills Szadek, Kento and Kael and runs off with Kikan and Ranpu only Sora stays. I just have no clue on how to get there. Chapter three is when Riko ends up poisoned by the elders through Hikaru's blood.

“You mean we're going to go see sissy?” I asked. Szadek nodded. Then I growled which put them both on alert. The elders walked in.
“Why has Riko not come back with Hikaru's body herself?” asked the snobby female. I heard Szadek growl a little so I held onto his hand, and smiled up at him. He relaxed but I kept his hand in mine. 'Sissy would do the same I know it.' I thought to myself.
“Riko, fainted and probably still hasn't woken up. By the jutsu she used I'm not surprised. The Shakugan's 5th stage almost killed her once so she only uses it when she needs to. Or when Suta comes out pissed. Seeing Hikaru attacking Kento and I put Suta on attack and she used it without Riko knowing.” he explained. I looked down at the ground. 'sissy don't you dare die on me.' I felt my hand squeeze and looked up and saw a slight wink come from Szadek. 'she's still alive.' I thought happily.
“Still the deal was with her and her alone.” the female said. I stood behind Szadek knowing he wouldn't let them take me. “Give her to us Szadek.” she said.
“Sorry I can't do that.” he said emotionlessly The elders didn't even blink. The female wasn't happy but they didn't blink I was scared so I tugged on Szadek's cloak. “Let's go, Szadek I'm scared.” I whispered in his ear. He nodded, and looked at Katashi and he also nodded. I was picked up by Szadek and held close to his body under his cloak and we dissolved into little scorpions and disappeared. We reappeared at the hideout. I clung to Szadeks waist and he chuckled and picked me up bridal style and carried me to his room. I liked Szadek, I even have a crush on him. I think he sensed it, when I held onto his cloak when he tried to leave. I looked up at him with big pleading eyes. Ok I may only be twelve but hey come on he is really cute.
“Don't leave me please.” I whispered. He crouched down and gently laid his hand on my cheek and I leaned towards it.
“I won't leave a pretty thing like you. I will return to you, just get some sleep ok. When you wake up I will be beside you.” He whispered as his fingers played with my onyx hair that now had a few red streaks in it. He kissed my forehead which caused me to blush. I looked up at him. “I'll be back soon I just have to go check in with Kael.” he whispered, and he picked me up and put me in his bed which had black sheets with red scorpions on it like his cloak.
I smiled at him, “So when I wake up,”
“I will be beside you.” he whispered and kissed my forehead again, and left.

Riko's POV

I winced and cried out. Szadek and Kento looked at each other worried. Kael came in, and rushed to my side. He felt my forehead but pulled his hand back. My forehead was burning. “We think the elders may have poisoned Hikaru knowing that the one thing she couldn't stand was blood and getting rid of her was the best thing for the village. So we got Katashi to bring his student here. She specializes in antidotes.” Kento explained. Then they turned to see Yuri(Lily) walk in. Yuri walked over to me. I felt her chakra run through me.

I heard voices but I couldn't make out what was being said. I knew that my body was healing. I could also sense my sister laying beside me with her head on my chest. I started to stir tossing my head side to side and finally started to open my eyes and my vision was blurry at first but it cleared up.
“Morning sissy.” Keimei whispered. I looked at her and smiled. That's when I saw it, although I was not too happy with it. Out of the corner of my eye I saw Szadek watching Kikan with a softness in his eyes that was usually reserved for me, I smiled and whispered in Kikan's ear when she blushed I got my answer. I nodded my approval to Szadek and his eyes lit up. Kael and Kento were confused so I decided to tell them later. I happened to know Kento liked Keimei, but I wasn't sure how Kael would take it.
“Hey guys,” I whispered then I coughed up some blood. I looked up at Kael with fearful eyes. He walked over to me and motioned for everyone out. I saw Keimei and Szadek walk out together with Kento following.
“I'm scared Kael,” I whispered and cried on his shoulder.
“Shhh, don't worry, that wasn't your blood.” Kael whispered in my ear. I stared up at him silently telling him to continue. “We're trying to get you to cough up as much of Hikaru's blood as possible.” he pointed to a bucket. “The elders poisoned Hikaru knowing you would drain him in order to kill him. All the blood is still in your stomach. So Yuri developed an antidote and something to make you throw up the rest of it.” I held out my hand and looked up.

2 hours later

Szadek's POV

I was content, Kikan was playing with my hair I was laying with my head on Kikan's leg. Kael walked in, I sat up and chuckled when I saw Kikan frown. “Is she going to be okay?” I asked. He nodded and with a sigh of relief I laid back down and chuckled again when Kikan smiled and continued to play with my hair. Kael tilted his head to the side and started to talk to me telepathically.
'What is going on between you two?' he asked.
'What's it look like.' I grinned in my head as we had a conversation in our heads.
'What does Kitsune think of this?'
'She noticed and nodded her approval earlier' I told him. 'besides Kento likes Keimei, but you didn't hear that from me'
'Interesting,' he said.
'So what are you going to do?'
'Well if he really likes her what can I do?'
'Alright thats good.' I smiled up at Kikan with a soft smile. She blushed and bit her lip slightly.
“You and Riko share that in common.” I whispered brushing some of her red bangs out of her face as she blushed redder.
“What would that be?” she whispered.
“Biting your lip when your nervous.” I moved my hand down to her lips. I saw her eyes widen and I stopped, she shook her head and leaned into my hand.
“Yes but that's not the only thing we share.” she blushed and looked at my neck. I got the hint and sat up tilting it slightly. I moaned when I felt her teeth enter my neck. Her icy blue eyes changed to a dark ocean blue color, when she was done they returned to icy blue. I smiled at her and kissed her neck and felt her shift when I opened my eyes she was sitting on my lap with her head on my chest sleeping I chuckled and curled my arms around her waist and shifted so that we were laying down on the couch and she was beside me.

Two hours later

Riko walked in and saw Kikan in Szadek's arms. She coughed and Kikan looked up.
“What sis?” she asked. Riko just nodded to her room. Kikan got up so as not to wake Szadek. Keimei walked into her sister's room, and after two hours of being yelled at.
“Fine, I'll leave. Happy mom.” Kikan shouted and walked out of Riko's room and packed her bag and walked out of the hide out.

Kikan's POV
I just ran, not knowing where I was going just running. I stopped when I found myself in front of a rainbow waterfall. So I put a waterproof jutsu over my stuff and jumped in. I came up in a cave. I smiled, no one knew about this place, and I was going to keep it that way. I set to work making furniture and other stuff. Three hours later I had a small apartment like setting. I laid down on the bed and fell asleep.
