When the two reached the school a light drizzle had begun "is the weather here always so indecisive?" Damon thought to himself as he slid out of his car.

Elena laughed and got out of the car. She put her hood on and walked to the end of the car.

Damon tugged up his hood and lazily skimmed his surroundings he turned to glance down at Elena then up at the school.

Elena smiled slightly and turned toward the school and started walking up. There something dark about Damon, and she liked it.

Damon slowly climbed the steps of the high school and once he made it inside broke away from Elena's side and vanished into the mass of students.

Elena looked over to ask Damon something and found him gone. She looked around and couldnnt find him anywhere. She sighed and headed to her locker. She got her book out and walked to her math class.

Damon was absent for most of the morning and at lunch time suddenly showed up. He tugged off his sunglasses and glanced around the lunchroom, looking extremely bored.

Elena was sitting with her cheerleading squad. She looked up and saw Damon. She smiled at him and pointed to an empty seat at there table

Damon paid no attention to Elena as he quietly slipped through the mass of students and out the back door of the cafeteria, leading to the woods.

Elena frowned a little but turned back to her cheer leading squid. She pretended to pay attention but kept looking out the window. The bell rang and she got up heading to history class. She was hoping Damon wouldnt leave her there at the school with no way to get home being that he kept dissapearing

Damon reappeared towards the middle of history class, the teacher looked up in annoyance and continued on with his lesson. Damon made his way to his seat and sat down, a brooding look on his face.

Elena looked over at him. After a while she looked back at the teacher. A few minutes later the bell rang and Elena got up walking over to Damon.

Damon glanced down at her and without a word turned on his heel and headed towards the school's parking lot.

Elena followed behind. When they reached his car she heard her name. She turned around to find shelby running up to her. When shelby got there she whispered in Elenas ear "Are you so hung up on the new and very hot guy that you forgot we need you for cheer practice." she said pulling away. Elena looked at her "Thats right, its Tuesday, Ill be right there" She said turning to Damon. Shelby nodded and headed to the football feild
