The rest of the day passed slowly for Damon, "Humans learn the same thing over and over" he thought with a sigh as he trotted down the steps.

Elena walked into her History class and sat down. She wanted to see the new guy again but never spotted him after he left her by her locker. She still kept asking herself how he knew name

Damon lazily made his way to his history class, one of his more preferred subjects. The teacher glanced up in annoyance when he entered.

Damon handed him his pink slip the man skimmed it then looked up at him "well Mr.Salvatore welcome to my class you can sit over there" he said pointing to a desk a few seats over from Elena. Damon nodded and made his way to his seat as a ripple of excited whispers coursed through the class.

When the bell rang Damon was one of the first ones out of the door, he forced himself to slow down and keep a normal human pace.
