Summer Nights (Poem), July 09 2010 @ 10:30PM by
Summer nights
Too hot Sweat drips Down my neck Making me want to vomit I toss I turn I attempt To ignore The rolling Of my stomach That won't stop And only gets worse When i move Even a fraction Of an inch The music Lessens the pain Lessens the sickness That wants to escape I want to escape To somewhere Where the nights Are cooler Where the sickness Isn't making my stomach roll Where the moon is The true beauty of night Not a sign That the sickness of night Isn't over yet |

You must live somewhere where it gets really hot during summer.
So far my summer has been 60 degrees. Haha But great poem nonetheless. |
