Html to rotate images upon refresh? ISO, January 02 2009 @ 6:15PM by
Can anyone help me with this? We had a member here a couple of years back that had given me the simple html to do this on my profile page but she quit the site some time ago and I lost the html she had given me.
It was just a simple bit of html coding and I could add as many urls of my images as I liked and a different one would show up each time if someone refreshed the page. I know this can be done in javascript and also with using external sites like cgispy, but I want to do this in my own html in my profile coding, and I know it can be done as I did it before. Thanks to anyone that can assist me with this, it is greatly appreciated.

Umm it probably wasn't HTML as it can't be done with HTML. It may by the randblock function that CW has.
![]() You can do the following: {RANDBLOCK}Imagehere--------Imagerhere--------Imagerhere{/RANDBLOCK} Replace the { with [ and } with ] as well as the 'Imagehere' with an actualy img tag and you should have a randomly rotating set of images. [Edited by a moderator] |

Whoooo Hooooo, thanks so much Joe, off to try it now!
![]() Okay, for whatever reason, that definitely is not working for me. I only have the text show up on my profile... Will look at it and make sure I have it exactly as you show other than replacing the bits you mentioned. Edit again, afraid this code is not working for me. I do it exact and only have the text to one of the tags show up on my profile. Is there something I am doing wrong? I replaced all three areas for the images with my urls and replaced the { and } tags... ![]() [Edited by a moderator] |

You need to keep the --------s between each image tag

Yeah you need to use the image html tag within the randblock though:
[img src="location"] (but with chevrons instead of [ ]) |
