Arachnophobians; be warned!

I want you to meet Marley. :] I got him for Christmas.
He is a Chilean Rose Hair Tarantula.

He does not bite us! No matter how scared he is.
I've held him quite a few times(bare hands), and my sister has held him once. Neither of us got bitten. We're the only ones brave enough to hold him. Put a smile on!

He's very shy. And really only comes out of his house a few times in the night.
His food consists of crickets. Gut loaded crickets. 8]

I have to push him with my finger sometimes to keep from from hurting himself by bumping or falling off the side of his cage.
Also, his cage is only temporary. We're gunna let him have the fish aquarium when we get my brother's fish a new tank. 8O

I was thinking about getting a Tarantula too, but that was a no-go for my family and pets.

@Acrobolt: That was rude. :/ Now, I know you were merely stating your opinion; but still. Marley is a good tarantula.

@Nova: Really? Spiders are rather easy to take care of. And don't need a lot of attention like frogs or dogs. (no I didn't mean that to rhyme. Put a smile on!)

@Skateboard: I know, a lot of people think I named him after that. Put a smile on!

ooh how adorable! I don't quite understand why people freak out over spiders they won't bite you unless they are given a reason to. I hope you and Marley have lots of fun hanging out together^^

I agree, Whitecat!
I don't understand it myself, but he's a very kind a shy spider. He hasn't tried biting any one but his food. Not even the guy who showed Marley to us got bitten by him.
