Dear CW,

What a trip it has been. For those of you who don't know me I joined CW when it started, was influence by the wrong type of people, and ultimately got banned. I moved houses and had a chance to create a new user, which I took, and became know under the secret alias of StaticForce.

A few months later, I was dubbed "Tuna" by Bubbles and Darl, and the name stuck.

I was very active on CW for about 2 years under my new name until I started to log on less and less, eventually not logging on at all.

But now I come to this, a new CW, an unfamiliar site, an unknown atmosphere.

It seems more and more like a distant thought, of the old days where CW was about communication.

Starting over was good, but to change this much? Even down to the small details like cPoints instead of iPoints makes this place feel baron.

I have significantly matured since my previous encounters with many of you, and have realized that CW really wasn't about pets, or the stock market, or the collect-a-thon; it was about the people you met and the people you talked with.

This site...I just...I can't even explain how it feels to even look around the page, it hurts, it brings a tear to my eye. This is Creature World, and as sad as it is to say it, it's not Dress Up Humans World.

The forums, they are becoming more and more of the thing we all used to despise, the word most would not say, the place of which most would not tread.

I am Tuna, and I miss Creature World.


Edit #1: As inconsiderate as I may sound, I miss you all too. I miss the cheery, yet cautious Bubbles, I miss JohnM with his wisdom, I miss Darl who always used to find the fun in things. I...I just don't know what to say.

Edit #2: Alright, maybe I've been a bit too harsh here. Let me say the admins and mods have done a great job here, there are just a FEW things that quirk me. But it's 1:30AM so I'll get on tomorrow and chat with you guys.

I was the 16th user who joined the original Creature World. I'm not sure why you are so shocked by the current CW... They basically added a clothing feature which helps the economy actually move along instead of being non existant. They've basically made every item have some sort of use instead of having a bunch of useless junk.

The human dress up aspect allows one to express themselves and allows an additional way for a user to show their creativity and to flaunt their riches. It also allows you to attribute a face to a user you are talking to.

Everything is pretty much the same on this CW (beyond the items/pets/human thing)... So I am not sure why you are really complaining so much about it being different. Sure, a lot of things are missing but that is because they have not been reprogrammed or ported to the current CW... The battle arena and such will all be back in full force.

I think when you wake up you should re-look at the site and try to look at everything with an open mind.

Also, you stated how the old CW was not about the game itself, but the people you talked to.. Well that was the main problem with the old CW. The only way to be succesful was to know people... That's not how a online game should be. The old cw was so "corrupt" (For a lack of better word) that in order to bring in new members and breath life into CW they HAD to remake it.

CW in it's current form is much more fair and much more fun to play for just about everyone. Everyone has an equal and fair chance right now and even new members can still take control of the game.

With that said, It is good to see you back and I hope you will realize that CW is much better. I hope to see you play ^_^

Alright, alight, I've woken up now. Yes, I see CW is great, but the human figures are just a little creepy...

This is a fun new day at cw. It is fun being reminded of how things were. It is also nice to be able to all work together to make sure we have some of the old flavor along with the new.

Welcome back, Tuna. I thought the human figures were a bit creepy at first. But It is kinda cool to dress them and put an expression on their face. It lets us give everyone an idea of our mood. Can't wait for more clothes to come out. LOL
