Atrir's sleek tail flicked him in the side "keep going strong kiddo you'll pull through "she said.

The teen replied with a nod. He didn't talk much, so he didn't know what to say very often.

Atrir's ears pricked up when the guard came back in, his face still red with fury. A smug smile spread across her face

Tandoori watched the guard aproach, feeling slightly nervous. He was hoping it wasn't his turn to fight.

Tandoori narrowed his eyes. "Jinxed it..." he hissed as the man shoved him down the steps and out into the ring. The +Anima tapped his fingers on the hilt of his sword, waiting to meet his opponent.

A girl with bat-like wings was shoved into the ring, her black eyes were wide with fear. They blew the horn for the battle to begin.

Phobos sat down in the bleachers, feeling a lot of tension from the other +Anima, he knew it was better not to talk to the other seated +Anima. Least I'm done with the first round ruefully.

"Greetings," Tandoori said, giving the girl a nod. He waited silently for a sign to begin fighting.

Phobos wished he could just leave. There was no point in him watching a fight when hes blind, what next, make him tell them what he saw on those useless ink blob sheets psychiatrists have? He wanted to just soar into the air and fly away, but the government was smarter then to let them do that.

Someone shouted and another horned blared and the crowd roared with excitement, signaling that the battle had begun. The girl only looked to be maybe 13 or 14 and she dropped into a crouch.

Narrowing his eyes, Tandoori jumped back a few paces. He resisted the urge to use his sabre to end the fight quickly. He didn't want to kill this child.
