people ignore
the true heroes
that blend with the crowds
an average joe you could say

people judge each other
by there looks
not by there actions


Kids wanna be firefighters, and police officers
when they grow up
but i stick out
the kid thats a rebel

fighting for what she think is right
day and night
i'm a leader
and i plan to keep it that way


I stand still as the world rushes by
with my head held high
i walked up onto that stage


and when i was asked what i wanted to be when i grew up
my voice rang out loud and clear
"I wanna be..."
the crowd stared in anticipation
all i said was
"i wanna be ME"
