“I thrive off the deepest fears, I love to see you suffer, I hate to see you smile, I, child, am you’re worst enemy, you’re worst fear,” Came the raspy voice from Torri ’s nightmare. The words chilled her spine, in the nightmare she was trapped in a black room, a room in which many candles were alit yet it still had an eerie taste in the air. Something was amidst the candles, besides herself, though she wasn’t sure if it was a sprit or something usual and evil. “I’m coming for you, child, tonight at midnight I can avail myself and show the world what lies in your fears, I shall scare the mortals and bring my kind where they should be,”
Torri awoke screaming, what had that nightmare been about? She didn’t know, yet it always seemed that a few weeks before Halloween horrible nightmares trailed up to the night of Halloween, her nightmares were more frightful as Halloween approached. She tossed her bedding aside as she walked to her walk in closet; soon she was headed to the bathroom with jean knickers and a white t-shirt with blue writing on it that said: Nightmare of a girl, in tow soon she was putting mascara and lip gloss on. Her little brother Dustin banged on the door
“Hurry up Godzilla!” He yelled to her, she sighed and put her black flip flops on and charged out of the bathroom
“Thank you,” Dustin walked in the bathroom and shut the door behind him. Torri walked into the kitchen
“Something’s wrong, Torri, what is it?” Her mother asked
“Just another nightmare,”
“There’s something to those nightmares of yours, I wish you’d take my advice and go see someone about them,” Her mother shook her head nervously
“It’s nothing; really, well I’m off to school,” Torri smiled once more before leaving the kitchen and going out the front door, an eerie chill hung in the air, as if unspoken words were held inside the mist around her and her car.
