Scar ran from his mother and father's cave.

"Why does Mufasa get to be king?" Scar thought, crying.

Ahadi ran to get Scar. "Son...im sorry but Mufasa is the heir." His father's black mane and golden pelt shined in the sun. Uru came from the cave next. "Scar, im sorry, but your brother was the first born" Mufasa came out of the cave last, looking very proud.

"Well, I guess your the sore loser now!" Mufasa laughed as Uru and Ahadi walked back to the cave. Scar growled "One day I'll show you Mufasa!" "Your a no good brother!"

Mufasa chuckled "I dont belive you pepsqueak" Uru ran out. "Boys! stop fighting!"

Ahadi came out and roared "Mufasa, come here!" Mufasa gulped and slowly walked over to his father. Scar sniffed his tears away as Uru held her young son.

She whispered into his ear: "Scar, I always knew that you would be a better king than your brother" Scar's face brighted up. Mufasa didn't come out for the rest of the night.

Zira ran up Pride Rock ad Uru left. "Scar, what did your father say?". Scar put his head down. "Mufasa..is the heir" He looked away from Zira. She walked over to him and licked his head. "Its ok Scar, you will always be a king in my heart." She whispered to her future mate.
